The Challenge

I was assigned to pick up the tasks after the launch of First MVP.

Understood the problems and issues faced by the resellers and jotted down the insights.

Though the company was aiming for a full feldged B2B product, the customers were more of individual end customers rather than Resellers. We had to consider both persona and their user flows for the next phase.

01 > Identification of Personae

Enhanced the processes within the application to benefit both resellers and end customers. We have incorporated standard e-commerce terminology and introduced user-friendly flows that align with the mental model of the users.


02 > Ecom - Mental model

To ensure a seamless e-commerce experience that aligns with user expectations, we have introduced a homepage featuring robust search functionality, a well-organized product listing, and product pages equipped with filters and relevant Call-to-Actions, all tailored to our business model.


03 > Change purchase flow

Taking into account both the end customer and the reseller, we have segregated the workflows and streamlined the purchase process, simplifying it to the most straightforward steps.

In response to the payment challenges experienced by our Indonesian customers, we have introduced the Bulk Pay and Pay Later options on our platform. These options allow them to make a single payment when they are available to visit the bank or kiosk. Unless earlier, Order confirmation was given only once the payment is done, as it was misleadign the customers about the status fo the order.

While the "Pay Later" option is generally not advisable in e-commerce due to the potential for customers to change their minds quickly, we found it necessary to provide this option. However, our approach was to emphasize "Buy Now" as the primary CTA for users who are ready to make an immediate purchase decision.

Proper onboarding

We've distinguished between resellers and customers and developed effective onboarding screens to introduce them to the application and platform. We've designed a straightforward and minimalist onboarding process to provide essential information and raise awareness about our platform.
